Once the user acceptance testing is complete, system integration platforms and tools must be built and tested. The technical configuration must be promoted to the production environment post successful completion of system integration platforms and tools testing. The first step for production deployment is to carry out a production promotion readiness review. The Engagement Manager (Transition) or delegate identifies and authorizes appropriate people for this activity and ensures required accesses are provided.
The results of the production readiness review must be analyzed and, in case of gaps with respect to desired results, it must be evaluated to confirm if it qualifies for corrections. If the review is successful, the promotion of the technical configuration to production is authorized. For this a change request may need to be raised and the promotion must be executed.
Once the technical configuration is promoted to production environment, the Technology And Infrastructure Lead must carry out a readiness review for go-live. The cut-over checklist must be implemented as planned and the cutover must be authorized.
